Very Long Pile Fur?

Hey fuzzies.

Back at the fall picnic I remember seeing someone with a tail that had somewhere between a 4 and 6 inch pile fur, very realistic.  I have been unable to find anything that long (that wasn’t dyed horrible dorm room carpet colors).  Anyone know where I might be able to obtain that in white or realistic wolf?  I’m 99.8% certain it was fake fur.

 

**EDIT**  I did try samples of the super long pile fake fur from Distinctive Fabrics (forget the exact name), it was nowhere close to the length I want.

You might have to make that yourself. Using yarn to get the stands. Just untwist and brush it out. Many suit makes use this method for hair and such. Not sure how you would make large quantities though.
