Hey everyone I’m not exactly a Minnesota fur, but I’ll be visiting for a week on business and have no one to hang out with and nothing to do on the evenings. I’m a very….erf..eclectic and open-minded furry from Texas, but I was hoping I could make new friends while I’m there and maybe have someone to show me around? Teach me about your state and whats fun to do?

You’re between furmeet weekends, so I suppose that won’t be an option.  I am a very busy college student so I’m not sure how much help I can be, but maybe we could hang out at the mall of america together.  Send me a PM if interested.

Hey, if you’ll be in Bloominton and Minneapolis, you’ll be in Richfield too! My city is squished right between those giants, Edina, and the Mall of America. Speaking of, if you’ve never been, I highly suggest you do make it to Mall of America. On the 7th, 8th, or 9th, I have some open hours I could possibly meet up with you just for the sake of meeting new people.

In the Twin Cities, if you like comic books and table top games, there is The Source which is fairly popular. I don’t personally make it there much, but I believe they have tables people can use for gaming. In Rosevill, just north of the Twin Cities, is Fantasy Flight Games if you like board games and know the brand – housed in Minnesota! Another option for a group to meet up and do games is almost any Games By James store. I know the one in Southdale Mall, Edina, has open game nights or magic the gathering most days – also the Southdale Mall itself was the first mall built in the United States. Could be fun to visit just to say you’ve been inside a piece of history, for the AMC movie theater, or Dave & Busters arcade. Otherwise the Mall of America is much more impressive in scale and variety.

I think most of these suggestions would be 30~40min from your expected area if you’ll have a car available. I’m new about the MNFurs group myself so I don’t have any suggestions on that directly.

First of all welcome to the twin cities. It’s a fairly nice time around here. Most likely you won’t have snow when you are up here so the weather should be fine :).

This city is more than just a city with a Mall of America, sports teams that do sports, First Avenue, and the house that Prince built.

But it’s more than that. It’s filled with countless creative people and individuals. Depending what happens and your schedule I maybe available. But I do hope you have a great time when you are up here whatever happens!

Hey there Riley, I hope you enjoy your visit in the great MN!

Pretty much what Kurst said and some other fun places are the Minneapolis Institute of Art if you are into that and Mill Ruins is a fun park to walk as it’s near downtown.

Hey guys! THANK YOU! One of the guys from another group took me around st paul and minneapolis and Ive really really loved it so far. I am in training right now untul about 4 or 430 and Id love it if someone or a group of someones would like to show me around the mall next?

By the way, I am a little – not really a babyfur. Im a respectful individual and having said that I’m open about my status as a diaperfur. I only say there here because I know its something that makes other uncomfortavle and id prefer to be upfront about it rather than someone look me up while hanging out with me and then suddenly its all awkward.

SO. All limits are respected. Please feel free to message me and maybe we can exchange numbers to coordinate hanging out!

Again thank you all for the warm welcome. Everyone up here has been very kind.
