So here’s something to look at for the events – prettymuch all our events in the past have happened on weekends, with rare exceptions on holidays. Our calendar looks kinda lopsided with mostly things on Saturday, maybe a few on Sunday, and virtually nothing throughout the week.
So as a community, what are your thoughts? Should there try to be one-off and/or regular events on weeknights? If so, what form should they take? Or why shouldn’t we do weeknight events, what would stop people? What makes weekends better than weeknights?

Personally you will attract different people on different nights people have different life styles and living. A lot of fur groups put on events no matter date or time.
My personal opinion when people can run events we should run them – weekday or weekend. Worse thing comes worse no one shows up but at least people tried 🙂

I can very much relate to this…When I have ran some spontaneous events in the past during a weeknight, different people come out that you normally would not see on a weekend or any traditional event. Plus, depending on location, you will get a variety of people…Key word being variety. Surprisingly, on some of these said events, a decent amount of interest was garnered and a nice turnout happened.

Going back to Ridayah’s inquiries, my thoughts on the first one is that this could work and with an outside activity, I feel interest can be good.
For the second question, I would say start at a basic point…Let’s try and figure something out that works with a good majority of interest and see how it goes from there?
For the third question, which is on form…Could you be more specific? With the season warming up, for example, one idea could be in the form of a fursuit romp, nature walk, etc…
Next question…I think the obvious point that would stop people or make people unsure is work. There is a certain point where people are done with work and depending on moods, this could make/break a potential event from having a lot of attendance. Depending on the event(s), try and schedule it around or after 6:00 or 7:00 at the latest.
Last question is obvious as the weekends have more open availability for people.

I will be hosting events at various local pubs, restaurants and breweries on Tuesday/Wednesday nights. Some 18+ most 21+. No fursuits or board games, more of a supper club. This will be in the form of visiting a different establishment once a month and encouraging those who attended to post a review of the place on the forum.-

That sounds like an awesome idea Snap, sign me up!To follow up on Snap, I would love to have Tuesday night Lush or Betty Dangers bar night. Yup, sorry, 21+I agree that a week night meet would be an excellent idea. I work the weekends and I have to shit my shift my schedules to attend. So a Wednesday would be great being right in the middle of the week and equally spaced between the weekend days.I'm just a Hodgepodge.
I am hoping for more night activities since I work nights and getting up for some of these has been hard (so I just quit going).Electronic Music - EDM, Industrial, Synth
Nocturnal - You will rarely see me during the day, I work nights
Demi-Sexual - Fun first, flirt later
Foodie - Food Adventures constantly, not a fan of fish though -
