Also, fyi, if you are thinking of claiming volunteer hours or have on your taxes, don’t.   There’s a thing about this that is getting figured out and worked on.

Long story short – volunteer hours are not tax deductible for any 501c3.  It’s not just a Minnesota Furs thing. It’s not going to change unless there is a tax law change.

Mind you if you could deduct – I would be rich 🙂

So far haven’t been ask for clarification on expenses.  The ones that I have been asked have been membership and those are not tax deductible (You get something from it).  If there is any specific questions feel free to have them contact me.
