What would be a MNFurs Picnic without a badge? For this picnic, we want to give our talented local artists a chance to bask in the sun, and to show their talents, by making a badge for MNFurs 2011 Fall Picnic.
This is an open contest which will result in the two badges we display at the picnic this year. The winners will get recognition on mnfurs.org and public congratulations at the MNFurs 2011 Fall Picnic.
The theme for this year is “Basking in the Sun” since our spring picnic didn’t have too much sun.

Badge design must meet all the following requirements to be eligible:
- Badge must be G or PG Art
- Badge must contain at least one of three phrases: “MNFurs “, “Basking in the Sun”, “Fall Picnic 2011”
- Badge must follow the picnic theme – “Basking In the Sun”
- Badge must have an area that a person can esaly write their name on it. This area is recommend to be white.
- Badge is 4” wide by 3” height
- Minimum resolution of the file must be 600 x 450 pixels, but we recommend 1200 x 900 pixels.
- File must be under 10 megs, and it should be sent to [email protected]
- All art copyright must be owned by the submitter
- All entries must be received by the end of the day on September 1st, 2011
Additional rules and regulation for the MNFurs 2011 Fall Picnic Badge Art Contest follows:
- All entries may be shown at MNFurs Fall Picnic and other MNFurs events
- All entries can be used by MNFurs for promotion of the Fall Picnic
- Contestants must state in written if they wish not to be publicly recognized
- Final badge art for the picnic will occur September 7, 2011
- All decision are final
- MNFurs reserve the right to update the rules at any time. Any update of the rules will be posted on MNFurs website and forums.
