This thread is to discuss food options at the 2017 Spring Picnic
Specifics for picnic area can be found here: https://www.mnfurs.org/MNFurs_Talk/group-event/mnfurs-announces-mythic-picnic/
As you may notice, site has access to 2 charcoal grills and a full kitchen.
This gives us many food options. As always, the picnic is potluck so everyone should bring something. But because of the variety of grills, electrical outlets and kitchen appliances, we have many options available for what we can serve.
But that leaves many questions and volunteer opportunities needed to help run these various options.
Who wants to help with kitchen?
Who wants to help with getting charcoal grills started and tended?
does anyone want a gas grill? Is one available that someone is will to lend for event?
If you want to help or have specific need/request, Contact me at Procyon or [email protected] with tag: “2017 Spring picnic: (subject)”
Lastly, if you want to discuss options or just shout out what you intend to bring so we do not end up with 80 pounds of potato chips, post below.
Hmmm, if we have access to power and cold running water, I could actually make rice balls fresh on-site. How are they? Would y’all be interested in having me do that?I’ve never managed to have one myself lol.
