I would definitely do my best to make it work out! 🙂 Evenings are easier for me overall anyway since I work during the days.i might consider trying to go ^^ sounds funThat sounds fun. Since I finally moved down to brooklyn center last weekend, I can finally go to some of these meets. I would still need to work with my schedule at work to go to these meets though.
Give me the time and I can think of something when I get to know my schedule at work.
Well, sounds like June 1st works for most. I’ll probably get off work around 3 to 4 or so and head right to the mall. If anyone in the Golden Valley area, specifically the intersection of I-394 and Hwy-100, needs a lift, let me know.I can meet at MOA on some days during the week. It’s not hard for me to reach it by bus and coincidentally I also work at IKEA, so I usually end up going through the mall on my way to work.Sounds like the 1st is a go. Like I said, I’ll just head there right after work and wander around waiting for others, assuming no one else is there already. This will be my first meet at the MoA, so no idea what people usually do. I can definitely try to coordinate dates and times though.
What do people want to do? I would like to eat dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings, though I can be convinced to go somewhere else. Other than that, I’d just like to wander around, talk to people, etc.
I don’t have to work on the first of June so that would work with me.I Just got my work schedule for this week, and I will be working til 4. Which means I wouldn’t be able to get to the mall ntil around 5 because I have to take the bus. Would it still be okay to meet up with you guys then?I think it would work for me too. Should we meet at a particular location at a certain time? I haven’t met anyone yet so I wouldn’t know who is who even if my life depended on it. X3– HI THERE! –After reading through the posts for this starting from the very first post, I want to provide some pointers for whoever is organizing these…It sounds like the originator of this is Reagan/Flux and now Hikyuuri is stepping in and organizing.

When organizing these, figure out a designated meeting spot because just showing up and wandering around is not very ideal. For those that want to attend, the MoA has hundreds of people walking around and not everyone knows what you look like or even know where to look. Examples of meeting spots include outside of Dick’s Last Resort (East side) or outside of Buffalo Wild Wings near the food court (mentioned by Hikyuuri).
Next up, figure out a date (I see that you are choosing June 1) and time (I see that you get off work between 3-4)…I would suggest setting your meeting time at 5:00 (or 5:30 depending on traffic) as that will allow you proper time to arrive and helps eliminate stress if meeting an earlier deadline.
Next, put a list together of who is coming out that you know of. To help you keep track, look at previous forum posts in this thread on people who have given confirmation on attending on the date you want to have this on.
Next step, once you meet up with everyone at the mall you can discuss what places you want to visit and/or hang out at for a bit.
Lastly, food stuff because food is everybody’s friend 🙂

If you have questions about anything I discussed then let me know as I have hosted multiple mall meets in the past!

As a point of reference on what Drake said about meeting spots, I’ve often used the 3rd floor food court bridge over Legoland as a good meeting spot. Only two entrances and high visibility from all sides, even if others don’t know whom you are (and you them) it’s not hard to spot each other!I like that idea for a meeting spot. I’ve also used that spot before as a meeting point, too. Now we just have to come up with a meeting time. I agree with Drake that we should meet between 5-5:30, maybe closer to 5:30 as it will be rush hour.Well as I said earlier, I will definitely be able to make it tomorrow. Just let me know where in the mall to meet at and I’ll be there.I’d be interesting in meeting up too. Any time in the afternoon would for me, just tell me where to meet.-

no name given.
Drake, thank you for the pointers!Sounds like the 3rd floor bridge by Lego Land and the Food court is a good spot, and that several people know where that is. If not, just look up Lego Land on the map, and go there. We will be on the 3rd floor, “above” Lego Land.
I’ll be there early, but if people can aim for 5:30 to 6:00 or so, we can then go grab food somewhere (will update this thread with where different group(s) are going, so late attendees can still find us).
Furthermore, I have both a Skype and Telegram (telegram preferred). My Telegram is @Hikyuuri, and my Skype is [email protected]. Feel free to message me if you are late or lost, and we will get you included :).
Right now, the list of attendees looks like:
Hikyuuri
Pepper
Oanta
Styrax
LGslam
Inuyasharules31
Xeres
Thylacine
Ridayah (did you want to go, or were you just commenting?)If there is anyone else, please let me know 🙂
