Creating a skype megachat for MN furs.

Has anyone ever thought about that sort of thing? It might run a little bit faster than the chat function on this site would. And a little more <i>convenient</i>/way to socialize. Depending on how comfortable some of you are with tossing up your username for me to add you into it. I dont mind micro-managing it either. So if anyone is down for this post here and let me know your interest maybe?

 

( Also, if anyone is specifically concerned about the notifications. Skype has a function that allows you to ignore the chat unless someone mentions keywords of your using. So you wouldnt have to always be nescicarily clicking in/out of that window to get rid of the notifications)

 

or if there is any other concerns I’d be happy to help too.

I do like that the chat is built into the site, it’s nice to have a low barrier of entry for new people to find it. But it would be nice if it were irc based or something so you can use a client for it,, so the skype thing sounds alright.

I was asked by someone else earlier on how this mega chat is going to work…I deflected it since I am not the starter of this.

Someone want to express ideas on how to do this?  Skype group chats are easy to setup, but what does everyone want to see from this?
