Creating a skype megachat for MN furs.

Okay so…I was asked by someone else earlier on how this mega chat is going to work…I deflected it since I am not the starter of this.

Someone want to express ideas on how to do this?  Skype group chats are easy to setup, but what does everyone want to see from this?

I’d like to have atleast a weekly voice chat?  Other than that people can just chill and talk via text.

During Voice chats it’d be fun to wear suits!  <3

I joined the group chat and gave it a shot, but shortly after my phone and computer started ringing. I disabled notifications for the chat, but I cannot disable calls and frankly it is infuriating to get incredibly disruptive calls all the time (especially while I’m at work!)

Would it be possible to have a policy of making group calls outside the main group with just those who wish to participate in the call?

To add on to Calstar’s response, I had to do the same…Been getting randomly pulled into the chat while I am at work and is very distracting.

Do not know what Wynn plans to do going forward, but perhaps when the chat is going ‘X’ person should be asked if wanting to join the chat?

I understand that this is a work in progress thing, but that is my suggestion.  =)

One thing you can do is reset the notifications 😀

step 1: save group in contacts

step 2: click on the group so its selected. then go to the top and click on conversation.

step 3: click on notification settings and you can set it so you don’t get notified or only for certain words. 😀

And this is why I didn’t opt in.  By all means the idea is nice in concept but there are so many issues that need addressing before I want to call it a MNFurs chat avenue, or want to join it.
And to add onto that, and I don’t think it provides the tools to moderate the chat properly.  As we all know, drama happens with us furries, and I don’t think we have a way of quelling that if it happens flare up.

I like that it’s without moderation, I do dislike it being able to call me.

I have no issue with letting people know if there is a conversation going on. I’m not sure if I should Go around to everyone or just put a notification in the website chat?
