Hello MNFurs community!
Last year we had a holiday party at the GPS Center. The event went well and received positive feedback. I am starting a discussion on this to see if there is interest this year. I am currently trying to get in touch with the original person who ran it last year.
Why so early on talking about a holiday party? One of the reasons for this early discussion is because the month of December is touchy…There are many who have family traditions around the holidays and cannot get around it. This will be good to think about now as it rests on the back burner. Lastly…I want to discuss this now rather than later.
Last year it was held on a Friday evening in December. Did that work for most people? Would some have preferred it was held Saturday evening?
What dates in December seem to work best for people? What time frames? Again, this is why we are discussing these areas now.
Alongside the fun activities included last year, is there anything new you want to try?
Again, nothing is being set in stone yet, I just want to get this discussion going.
This will happen before Christmas which is on December 25.

Fridays and Saturdays in December are fine for me as long as it isn’t the 14th.Did you still want help planning this Drake, or are you good?

Last one went well in general, including time/day.I would appreciate something going on, on a friday or saturday i’d love to see you guys again :3I’ve talked a little with kels about it, and planned on talking to you about some things in particular, but yes a friday/sat night tends to be the best and in December I should be able to go.Wut o.o

We haven’t really started figuring out our holiday/family plans yet, but I suspect the weekends immediately before and after Christmas are probably going to be the biggest challenge. I know there was some talk of having it later in the month, but something in early/mid-December would likely work better for us.I don’t think the last 2 weeks in december are feasible for anyone. Granted you’ve already said you aren’t going to be doing it after christmas. Which is good XD But yea. first or second week in december would be the most available is my assumption for peopleAlright, so far I am hearing the following…– Friday and Saturday’s work the nest
– Time frame was okay
– Early to mid December is best

I’m more for Mid/Late Dec myself cause of school going into the 2-3rd weeks of Dec. And my family isnt that close so I dont have to worry about plans lmaoWut o.o

Early December would work best for me. Im most likely going to Michigan the week before Christmas with my boyfriend.anything besides the weekend before though the weekend after is probally best for me as my family hasn’t stated plans yet but its usually between those two dates. I am really looking forward to seeing all of you guys again <3 And if you want i can bring my munchkin with me(I only have 2 expansions atm) but its a thought :3 -
