Round Table Discussion: What event do you want to see MNFurs Host?

I also want to see a Meetup between the Minnesota Furs and the Wisconsin Furs and I think it would be great if it could be made into a camping weekend as well. So we all can hang out as much as we want together and Fursuit at the park and some nearby parks . The Wisconsin/Minnesota Interstate Parks would be great for this since there are allot of things close by to do (Historic sites, Places to Eat, Hike, Fawn Doe Rosa Wildlife Park) and it would give both groups and fursuiters to take photos from Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Frontenac State Park is also another suggestion. Its close to Red Wing too so if people with Fursuits wants to carry them to the top of Barn Bluff for a photos that would look awesome.

Not a bad one Drake, but if it hits Texas, Arkansas, Indiana, or Florida the rules should automatically call for a redo.

If we’re talking about places to go, how about Duluth? I think it would be fun to go up on a Friday night and head back Sunday afternoon or evening. There are a number of locations that would be good for suiting and or photoshoots, around the Lift Bridge and lighthouses, Downtown Duluth, Skyline Parkway (great views of harbor).  Could also work in Kurst’s idea of a Water Park if we could get a group rate at the Edge Hotel/Waterpark. We could also have a bonfire out on Park Point some evening.

Another thing that some people have done in the past is a romp during the Northern Spark art festival (http://2015.northernspark.org/)

It takes place from sunset to sunrise along the river front and a few other locations through out Minneapolis, features a number of art projects (some cool, some wierd and some WTF) and thousands of attendees show up for it.

If this is something people are interested in doing, someone else would probably need to help organize as I will be busy working the event for the first few hours.

I like this idea as Duluth has plenty of nice areas.  Last time I was up there was with Norm and we were camping at the Indian Point Campground –> http://www.indian-point-campground.com/
