The Big Thrill Factory Suiting Event!

Hey there furry peoples,

I’ve been tossing the idea around of going mini golfing in suit for a while now. While I was searching the internet looking for a place to play I stumbled across the Big Thrill Factory. I was instantly intrigued. I went a took a tour of the place last week and talked to a manager to pitch the idea of us suiting there, she seemed excited. Right now I’m in the process of getting all the details worked out, but what I don’t know is how many people are interested in going.

It would be on a meet saturday (shooting for late July or some time in August) from about 9 or 10am until the normal meet time. The pricing seems reasonable and everything is card/point based. The attractions they have are Bowling, Laser Tag, a Ropes course, Bumper Cars, an Arcade, Mini Golf, Trampolines, and a big ol’ slide thing… plus a couple other things. There is food as well. They also have a private room we can use for staging and changing and tote storage.

I’m just looking to get a general idea on who would want to do this, handlers, suiters, just people who want to go. There will be other patrons there (kids, families, whatever) so there is plenty of opportunity for interaction.

Yeah, you skipped a couple of details there.  My interest is there, but my commitment hangs in these details.

Its the opposite direction on hwy 7 from the meet if you travel by I-494 to the meet, reasonable.  Not sure if its the best idea to plan it on a meet day though.  I get the idea that its close, but there is the thought being exhausted for the meet.  Just food for thought.

Second thing, is it possible to get a secluded area for changing into fursuits, kind of optimal for not being seen with the heads popped.

Last thing, water.  Is it readily available for suiters?  Kind of a biggie and can we bring our own if we have to buy it?  Some places like these frown on bringing in outside beverage.

As others have mentioned, I need a price range, and a general location. Especially since I’d have to take an entire saturday off for this (And miss extra weekend pay). I want to go just need those details to see if its doable.

I have already covered the “having a secluded area for changing” in the initial post.

As for water and whatnot, I’ll find out more about that as soon as I can, but one would assume that being this is a place where there is a lot of physical activity and a decent sized menu they would be more than stocked with water, be it fountains or bottles for purchase. I’ll ask about outside water though just to be certain.

I would say go ahead and schedule it as a pre meet something, I mean I run the petco events on Meet days so people end up suiting for 5 hours before going to the meet or they just go home, their choice really.  🙂

 

I just know for me and Shadow August is very booked for our weekends, July is open though as far as i can tell.
