Up for re-election is myself, Kurst and Ridayah. We have at least one newcomer so far who is running. I’m sure the election committee will put out the full list of candidates after February 12th when the nomination period has ended.

I don’t expect to be or really want to be elected but I have strong problems with Ridayah and Kurst so I’m throwing my hat in again.

I may be getting a little overly-technical: but is there any log of a board member’s voting history, or any detailed minutes available of past items discussed and voted on by the board?

All board meetings are recorded via notes which would contain that information and are able to be requested. However, it’s not kept as a compiled list, simply because that’d be a lot of overhead given the size and purpose of our group!

I prefer to go by “Snap E. Tiger”.   It will be easier for people to do research on me via the web if they wish to educate themselves on who I am and what I have been doing in this fandom the past 16 years.

    Thanks L.

    Interesting spread..

    So,.. Who nominated who?

Also, i was expecting a total of 3 nominations to fill 3 up for elections seats.. The debate should be fun.

Is it possible to have profiles or something like that of each candidate? Not all of us can make it to the debate.

btw Cence —  it’s “who nominated whom”

    giggle!!

Last year there was a template for the candidates, just a few basic questions to post on the forums about themselves. I’m all for this idea, if the elections team can supply those few questions so all candidates are on equal footing there. Elections team, would you please be able to do that so the candidates could post a bit about themselves?

Last time.  I remember we were allowed to ask our own questions.. Assuredly mine will not be on a “template”

I have finished formulating my questions.. Both ones i want to ask ALL the candidates online (where they could respond and everyone else could read these responses) and i also have a set of questions i would like to ask in person to specific candidates (yes in a observed meeting) not “pulled aside at some ramdom time”, (for their answers could then be observed by a community who stands to elect them.   Will i get this chance?

Very much would appreciate it.  Thanks.

    -Cence.

The template would just be so all candidates could be on equal footing for the bios or whatnot they posted here on the forums for people to peruse. That’s what I was referring to!

As for your own questions, I know right now the plan is to have the ‘debate’ on March 7th at the community meeting. I believe the plan is for a set of questions to be asked, and at the end there will be a time for open questions to the candidates. So you should definitely be there! I know I’m looking forward to it.

Snap has my vote and full backing. This board needs new blood and he has proven himself more than capable.
