Discussions, discussions, discussions…I like to discuss things because they are important and can help knock something loose for something to do. I am starting this thread in an attempt to get community members involved in ideas related to events for this Spring and summer…Because discussions! 🙂
As you know, the temperatures are starting to slowly warm up and we will want to be outdoors…This brings up the fun question of…
What does the community want to see in a fun outdoor event?
Let’s brainstorm ideas and discuss here.

Well I’m definitely doing my little picnic get-togethers. I think we should take advantage of outdoor stuff. Maybe we should see about an MNFurs Beach Day or something! Waterpark or beach, a good chance to get together, swim, work on our tans (though how it’ll get through all that fur I’ll never know)… I think that might be a lot of fun.Yes, I remember you telling me about this and I am excited to see how this goes.~ Drake M.

There was some interest in a Valley Fair meet up. So I was planning to get one together – especially since they improved their water park.Also was hoping that we would get a Science Museum run going. Just haven’t had time recently to get it. They have SPACE!!!!!
Hoping to clear up a few things on my plate before spending time getting those going.
Member of Minnesota Furs a 501c3 Non Profit, former Convention Chairman for Furry Migration, volunteer, and always doings lots of other stuff.

Kurst "YipYap" HyperyoteWe could do another nature walk similar to the one last fall. Another thought would be do a bicycle tour through any number of regional parks and I second the idea of a day at the beach.Another idea that comes to my mind is a science museum visit.~ Drake M.

An interesting place to go to as well in Jordan.A fur meet in the Rochester/Byron area?I love the Science Museum, Drake!!Dining out at Cecil’s Deli or Kyoto would be high on my list. also!

Amethyst – I will have to look at pricing for the museum. Kyoto may be spendy for most if dinner was arranged afterwards.
