Petco Fundraiser

The time has come again for the tree of Hope fundraiser at the Coon Rapids Petco for this year, just got the information about it it starts on Nov. 30th and ends on Dec 24th, I was wondering if people would be interested in participating again this year outside the building to be silly and interact with people to help raise money for the adoption groups once again.

The dates would be Saturdays like before, Nov 30 Dec 7, 14 and 21st are the days and the time would be once again from 11am until 4pm. 

Let me know if people are interested again this year.  🙂

I can do the 7th (may have to leave a tad early), 14th, & the 21st.

Not sure if I’ll do it yet, but as an FYI there is a conflict for some people on the 7th.  That being the Community Meeting is that afternoon (3 PM) before the bi-weekly Perkins meet.  So not sure what your turn out may be that day.  Just a heads up on that.

Well i am not sure what is going on with the extra “Code” stuff that trails after the posting, but I didn’t put that there.

Anyway for the Petco fundraiser, nothing is etched in stone and if people are willing we can possibly look at doing the following Sunday if the weather is bad on a Saturday if people would still want to come out to help with the fundraiser I am looking for interested people so I have an idea of how many people i will have on what days for planning if I need more handlers and so on.  Just trying to get this out there with enough time for people to think on it and if not enough people have the free time to come out we just won’t do it this year. so far on average we have been able to pull in between $200-300 each time we have been out there being silly in front of the store and it has really helped out Whisker Rescue and TLC Canine.  🙂

What Innouva said- we’ve had a few complaints about overlapping events… so if we can move it to December 8th – Sunday you are likely to get a better turnout. Realistically the community meetings are small but a lot of the dedicated volunteers attend these. I won’t be able to make the 7th for example for this reason but could make the 8th of that weekend.
Also – glad to see that Tab and Backspace have RSVPed aas suiters again this year, they were awesome last time!:P (I think it has something to do with your signature – try clearing that out?)

And Yarrick I am aware of the overlap of things and personally I think we would do better being out on Saturday but nothing is etched in stone so if people would rather show up and do things on Sunday I will just have to remind myself of the date shift as normally it has always ben a Saturday in the past.

Sounds Good Sike, save the no car part of things. So it is scrap then from your accident with Kelsier’s relative?

we’re still figuring out what we’re going to do. Last estimate including labor was reaching near the 2000+ range. At that point it might be better to look into a new car, so for now I just dont know.

I’d like to go but have no suit. I’ll probably bring Thomas (my Border collie) with me though so some of my new furry friends might see him. ^_^

Kiguel you are welcome to be a handler if you still wish to show up, I will have to see if having a dog outside the store will be ok or not as I don’t want there to be problems as no one has ever suggested bringing their pet to the event since there is no place to put any pets out there really for “Storage” as this is an outdoor event.
